New or Recent Hires! What Do You Wish Someone Had Told You When You Started?

Alright all you newbies (<1 year since hire date); this is your chance to let us know what you wish someone had told you or showed you when you started at Constellation/Icon Estates/VineOne. The Academy of Wine is mostly interested in what wine knowledge you wished you had had, but we will take any feedback at all and find someone to pass it on to.

I think I'm still on training wheels... Anyway, I wish they told me how much I will love working and learning with the staff! I have learned a lot by our senior wine educators, and continues to learn more. There's no winery that provide such an elite class of wine educators that share their knowledge for our visitors and wine enthusiast alike.

I wish someone had showed me all the different information and content sites on The Vine...in fact, I'm still finding things there that I didn't know existed about our brands, wine tech info, valuable HR information and shopping!

Something I would have liked was a chance to sit and talk to some of the business leaders of the company to find out what they care about and how they would like to see my function work for the benefit of the business.
